1. Product Overview
The TidyTech Motion Sensor Smart Pet Door opens automatically as your pet approaches. There's no collar, tag or microchip to fit, and no doorbell to learn. A PIR motion sensor detects movement, the door lifts, your pet walks through, and the door closes again behind them.
It is ideal for pets that are hard to train, older pets, and pets with poor sight or hearing. Size M suits small to medium dogs and larger cats (see the size guide below).
The detection distance can be adjusted from roughly 2 to 7 metres, and the sensor rotates 360° so you can aim it. Please note the sensor reacts to any movement in range, so people or other animals passing by can also open the door. Use the four smart modes (In Only, Out Only, In & Out and Locked) to control access, for example by locking the door at night.
The Smart Anti-Pinch Safety System stops the door and lifts it again if your pet is underneath as it closes. The rust-resistant aluminium frame and reinforced PVC flap withstand up to 50kg, and the windproof, insulating seal keeps out draughts. A rechargeable lithium battery in the control box gives up to 4,000 open/close cycles per charge via USB.
