2 x RFID Collar Tags
These collar tags can be used in place of pet microchips to allow your pet access through the pet flap. They have a stronger signal than a vet implanted microchip and so allow the microchip reader to recognise the code within the tag quicker.
SureFlap collar tags contain a code that is unique to your pet so that if other pets in the neighbourhood have a SureFlap collar tag, or any other type of collar tag used in selective pet doors, they will not be able to gain access.
Collar Tags are helpful if the vet implanted microchip has started to migrate within the pet or the pet likes to run through the pet flap rather than walk up to the pet flap. However, this does require the pet to wear a collar at all times and so is not suitable if your pet has a habit of losing their collar regularly!
If your pet is not microchipped, the SureFlap RFID Collar Tag is available as an alternative*.
*The collar tag is not compatible with older SureFlap Microchip Cat Flaps with a serial number of 1152201 or lower.
